Last Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting our 2nd Bazaar at the Puslinch Community Center.  We had a great time and saw many people wishing to shop.  There was a lot of variety to be had and I think everyone who came went home with something. We saw many happy faces and I was even able to get around to do a bit of shopping myself! I very much enjoyed helping out at one of the tables and speaking with many of the shoppers who shared our love of miniatures. We will be trying to hold the Bazaar again next year and will keep you posted as we finalize our plans.  Thank you to all of the wonderful Vendors who came to sell and to everyone who helped make the day a success!

On Thursday this past week we had our first miniature meeting in two years!  It was so fun catching up with everyone and welcoming two new members to the group.  It was also our first meeting in our new home and we were all impressed with the amount of space and light that we had here.  During the meeting we had a chance to see a prototype of the cart we will be making that had been made up by Janet H.  I have included a photo of it below, being held by Pat.  The photos above show most of our members at the moment with the exception of 2 of us.  We will try and get all of us into a future set of photos.
Today (Sunday October 18th) is our Bazaar at the Puslinch Community center and we will soon be gathering there to set up and welcome you all at noon.  Looking forward to seeing everyone again, along with the vendors.  Hope to see you there in a few hours!

A few days ago we were contacted by someone who had purchased an estate sale Caravan at one of the tables during our Annual Show this past May.  Jennifer wrote to say she had been spending the last few months decorating the caravan and making accessories for it. She re-used a lot of the accessories included with the caravan and made some more to go into it.  She also kept some of it exactly the same to honor the previous owner.  She also wanted to share the photos with the OMEGA Group and is loving her purchase. The above photo shows the caravan as it looked when she purchased it and what the outside looks like now.  The bottom photo shows several views of the inside.  What a lot of items have been put inside!

We at OMEGA are vey pleased that Jennifer wished to share this with us and we are thrilled that something she purchased at our show has brought her so much joy. Thank you so much for sharing with us Jennifer! You did a wonderful job.
