Here is a Pineapple palm made by Janet H.  What a wonderful job she did on it!  Seeing this photo makes me want to start on mine (which I haven't done yet, by the way).  Can't wait to see what the others at the punch party come up with for their palm.  Love the little pot that Janet put it into.

Today several of us gathered at Marg L's home for a punch party in which we each brought our own flower and leaf punches and shared them around.  We had a wonderful time talking, catching up with each other in person and punching out lots of flowers and leaves that we didn't have.  Jan C brought some wonderful palm fronds that she cut out on her Cricut for us to make a Pineapple Palm tree with.  As I forgot to bring paint I decided to bring mine home and paint them before assembling the palm tree.  Once I have one finished I will post a photo of it here.  It will be perfect for in front of my Beachfront Mansion that I have been working on!

Last week we all made Irises in our zoom chat.  Marg L did a terrific job showing us how to make them and I really enjoyed doing them.  These are my little Irises that I was able to complete within the time of the zoom session. 

I haven't fully decided yet where I will put them so I haven't put them into a pot.  I may decide to put them into my landscaping around my Beachfront mansion.  Now that I know how to make them I will be making more and will make some for our Club's upcoming Group project that we will begin working on this Fall when we finally begin to meet in person. I will post more about this upcoming project later as we get closer to September. 

Next week we will be getting together at one of the member's homes to have a "punch party".  We will all be taking our own flower and leaf punches, along with colored paper to the gathering then sharing them with each other. We spend the time punching out shapes that we don't have.  If you have a bunch of friends who like making mini flowers a "punch party" is a great way to get different flower and leaf shapes without having to spend money on lots of punches.
