Today, during our zoom session we made this delightful little Folding Dollhouse.  It is based of of a child's toy called the McLoughlin Folding Dollhouse.  The Files for this dollhouse were obtained from here: Open House Miniatures
When printing the files out onto cardstock for the rest of our club members, I noticed that the Maroon pieces that say Folding Dollhouse were blurry so I made up some with nice, clear lettering on them and sized them to fit the dollhouse.  There is no box with the files so I searched for a good photo of the box and created the box to fit as well. The instructions found on the site were very clear and easy to follow.  
At the end of our zoom session, those of us who participated had this adorable dollhouse completed.  This is the one I did today.  I am going to use a pencil crayon and color the tops and edges of the walls where the white cardstock shows to give it a more finished look.
It was a lot of fun creating this little project and I am looking forward to our next project in 2 weeks.

While we have been locked down during Covid and until our in-person meetings start up, I have been busy adding more details to my Kitchen in a Cupboard project.  I designed and printed out a "blackboard" sign to put onto a swinging sign on the left door.  The sign will fold into the cupboard so that the doors may still be closed.  On the bottom shelf is a little wicker basket I made during one of our meetings before the lockdown.  I haven't yet decided what to put into it. My daughter painted a beautiful little design on the right-hand door and I made a little counter-top grill, printed out some placemats and made the sugar, flour, coffee and tea containers for the door. There are still many things I can add to this and will continue to do so until our next Show and Sale, coming up on May 7th, 2023 when we will display our cupboards for all to see.
