Our Annual Fall Bazaar

We can hardly believe that the bazaar has come and gone after looking forward to it for so long. It was a wonderfully spectacular day and we hope that everyone who attended had as much fun as we did. We arrived early to open up and help the vendors set up their tables. That's one thing people might not realize, when they attend a bazaar or miniature show, just how many hours of pre-show preparation goes into it. All of our vendors are very experienced at it though and are extremely organized and efficient.

We always find its a big rush at the opening of any event as everyone is eager to find that special piece or that super bargain. We had a great turnout and we were so happy to see everyone. There were a lot of good deals and there were even items for free! All kinds of things were available from full-sized doll houses, completed room boxes, furniture, accessories and dollhouse construction supplies, like mouldings, windows and wallpaper.

It was 3 PM before we knew it and as the last stragglers were departing the big job of packing up whatever was left and cleaning up everything got going.

Even though it's always an exciting day and everybody loves being involved, it's so good to get home get your comfies on, then sit down with a cuppa of something, and reflect on what a great day it was. We thank all our vendors and everyone who attended and made it so successful.

Our next big day will be October 19, 2024 at the MET show, at the Japanese Cultural Centre, in Toronto, where we will have a table with all the wonderful pieces donated to us by Victor Gossman. It will be fantastic to see you there.
