Last Meeting before our Summer Break

​Yesterday, we had the last in-person meeting before we break for the summer. It was certainly an action filled meeting!

Shona gave a terrific demonstration on how she learned to make miniature books. She had a wonderful selection of filigree findings and supplies to give the book covers some detail.  She has quite an imagination and made pretend locks out of a small key that she got at Michaels. She was able to use every part of the key and the results were amazing! Thank you Shona for the inspirations. I know, I for one, am going to try some of those ideas.

I announced that I was leaving the Club as I no longer have the time to devote to it. I will miss everyone at the Club, but will definitely keep in touch. The website will be taken over by one of the other members in the Club who will introduce herself at a later date.

The Club will resume in person meetings on September 11th, when the members will begin working on their Club project for the year. Stay tuned for more information regarding the project. It promises to be quite fun and will produce a wonderful display that I cannot wait to see next year! 

​ I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and I would like to say I have enjoyed looking after the website these last 7 years. The time has flown by!
